In the concluding singles match, Louis Van Herck (ATP ranking #1350), making his debut for the SEAT Luxembourg Davis Cup Team, was defeated 6-7 (2-7), 6-4, 4-10 by Daniel Antonio Nunez (ATP ranking #790). Van Herck produced four aces and saved five of six break points, but Nunez proved more consistent in decisive moments, converting three of five break opportunities and securing 53% of total points (93 to 81).

At the end of the tie, Luxembourg captain Gilles Muller commented: “Overall we lose 4-0, and it has to be said clearly that the others were better. We went into the match knowing it would be very tough, but honestly, there are things I saw that make me proud - the boys fought hard and pushed through. A bitter defeat - I don’t like losing, so I am really disappointed - but there are positive aspects. We will see how things develop in the future.”

The SEAT Luxembourg Davis Cup Team will now play their next tie at the beginning of 2026 to defend their place in World Group I.
