Following her first qualifying round win on Friday against Annie Walther, the Luxembourg Federation Cup player Jo Weisen was defeated in the second qualifying round of the Waves Open 57 women's tennis tournament in Metz, France.

The 6-1, 6-4 result means that Luxembourg's hopes will rest with Mandy Minella who is due to join the first round proper on Wednesday. In the meantime, Minella has a Ladies Doubles match to play at Wimbledon upon which to concentrate...
