Following the announcement last week of its 7% revenue growth this year, PwC Luxembourg today reported that it has welcomed 235 new graduates to its auditing, tax consulting and advice departments.

With 850 recruitments, including 200 trainees, in 2015, PwC Luxembourg has retained its position as the sixth private employer. The professional services firm claimed that it was continuing its approach to recruit talents from a complementary multiplicity of expertise in order to provide a kaleidoscopic look at the issues of its customers.

"The richness and diversity of profiles are a way for us to remain flexible and responsive in a rapidly changing economic environment," explained Marc Schernberg, Partner and People Leader at PwC Luxembourg. "This variety in expertise allows us to offer our customers solutions to their challenges, whilst maintaining an optimal quality of service".

The new recruits represent a large geographical and cultural range, with the majority holding an academic background in economics, law and taxation. PwC Luxembourg also stated that it aimed to integrate considerations of Generation Y, which is focused on flexibility and creativity. In order to obtain this, this first form of work experience exposes recent graduates to challenging assignments accompanied by continuous coaching within teams and a training programme related to their profession. Recruits are also provided with the opportunity to change jobs within the company or swap to an office abroad.
