On Saturday 22 May 2021, the penultimate day of the European Swimming Championships in Budapest, Julien Henx was the only FLNS representative to represent Luxembourg in the pool.
In the freestyle sprint race over 50 metres, Julien, a soldier, posted finished 53rd out of 69 competitors, in a time of 23:33 secs.
“The race was better than the 50 Butterfly, but still far from satisfactory. The start and the first 30 metres were pretty good, after that I just didn't have the strength to keep the pace to the finish”, he revealed after the race.
