Luxembourg Swimming Competitions Cancelled until End of Year

In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Luxembourg Swimming Federation (FLNS) has announced its decision to cancel all swimming competitions until the end of the year.

In close consultation with the Ministry of Sports, the FLNS decided not to hold any more association competitions until the end of the year in light of the current high number of infections and to avoid contact. The FLNS strongly recommended that its sixteen member clubs join this decision.

 In order not to expose itself to an increased risk, the association has also suspended the participation of club and association teams in international competitions abroad until 31 December 2020. In doing so, the FLNS has shown itself to assume social responsibility and support the measures and recommendations of the authorities in order to contribute to the fight against coronavirus.
