IMS (Inspiring More Sustainability) Luxembourg held its Annual General Assembly (AGM) virtually this morning; over the past two years, the leading network of companies has experienced strong growth in the number of members and projects.
IMS President Christian Scharff opened the AGM by thanking member companies for their commitment and trust. Since 2018, nearly 25 new organisations have been joining the network every year, demonstrating the willingness of Luxembourg actors to work concretely alongside IMS towards a sustainable economy.
In 2019, 27 new members joined IMS Luxembourg, bringing the total number of members to 151 plus 39 associate members. Similarly, 188 companies were signatories of the Lëtzebuerg Diversity Charter. The network was also active in twelve fields and had fifteen publications to its name last year.
Other highlights of 2019 included the Zero Single-Use Plastic Manifesto, the Corporate Gardens guide, the ebook on welcoming employees with disabilities in the workplace, the ever-increasing number of innovative good practices in diversity management and projects related to the impact of digitalisation on the world of work: Info Flow Savvy and Digital Explorer.
Christian Scharff commented: "It is necessary to accelerate the movement together, move towards a more sustainable economy, and leave our children a liveable planet".
