On Tuesday 3 November 2026, the Luxembourg Football Federation (FLF) announced that the Luxembourg women's national football team (Red Lionesses) will face Bosnia and Herzegovina, Estonia and San Marino in Group C4 of the 2027 UEFA Women's Nations League, following the draw held in Nyon, Switzerland.
Luxembourg previously secured promotion to League B for the first time in 2025 after finishing top of their League C group with five wins and one draw.
According to UEFA's competition format, the six League C group winners will be promoted to League B. The two best-ranked runners-up will contest two-legged promotion/relegation play-offs against the two best third-placed teams from League B. The winners will compete in League B for the subsequent European Qualifiers phase, while the defeated teams will compete in League C. The remaining League C teams will stay in the same division.
The 2027 UEFA Women's Nations League group stage will take place across three international windows. Matchdays 1 and 2 are scheduled between 23 February and 6 March 2027, matchdays 3 and 4 between 13 and 24 April 2027, and matchdays 5 and 6 between 7 and 15 June 2027.
The FLF stated that the detailed fixture schedule, including match dates, kick-off times and venues, will be announced once the final arrangements have been confirmed.
The federation also reported that details of the Red Lionesses's upcoming friendly matches, planned for the next international window, will be communicated once all the necessary information has been confirmed.
