The Luxembourg Veterinary and Food Administration (ALVA) has announced the recall of various cheese biscuit products over the possible presence of metallic foreign bodies.

The following products have been recalled:

- BUITEMAN Bio Gouda biscuits (Biscuits au Gouda), 125g, with use by dates ranging from 16/11/2024 to 13/02/2025 inclusive;

- BUITEMAN Bio goat's cheese biscuits (Biscuits au chèvre), 125g, with the barcode: 08710873011271 and use by dates ranging from 04/03/2024 to 10/05/2025 inclusive;

- BUITEMAN Bio Gouda and onion biscuits (Biscuits au gouda et aux oignons), 125g, with the barcode: 08710873002101 and use by dates ranging from 25/11/2024 to 09/01/2025 inclusive;

- ALNATURA Bio Gouda cheese biscuits (Käsegebäck Gouda), 80g, with the barcode: 4104420227552 and use by dates ranging from 15/02/2025 to 15/05/2025;

- Boni Gouda Cheese Snacks, with the barcode: 05400141569841 and use by dates of 20/06/2025 and 21/06/2025; the product was sold between 12 July and 26 August 2024.

The products may have been sold in various stores across the Grand Duchy.

ALVA warned that, if ingested, foreign bodies (such as metal) pose a risk of suffocation or internal injuries.
