On the evening of Thursday 29 June 2023, local designers Les Sûtras and Egle Ozyte showcased their summer collections to fashion enthusiasts in the former's boutique in Galerie Beaumont in Luxembourg-Ville.
According to the organisers, over 100 people attended this event, which blended fashion from the west and the east.
Egle Ozyte, a Luxembourg-based fashion designer specialising in handcrafted dresses, kickstarted the show with her fusion of western cocktail dresses and gowns.
The spotlight then shifted to Les Sûtras by Zenia Dutta Roy, whose summer collections (kaftans, jumpsuits and halter necks in silk and cotton) took centre stage. The Indian lehenga also made an appearance - the Luxembourg-based brand draws inspiration from India and allocates part of its proceeds to Luxembourg non-profit organisation Aide à l'Enfance de l'Inde et du Népal (AEIN).
The event concluded with drinks and snacks for attendees.
