Cactus Supermarkets have announced details of their 45th French Wine Festival which is set to take place from 11 - 24 October 2021.

Throughout the fortnight, they will have no less than 549 French wines and champagnes on offer, including more than 100 organic wines and 17 wines that are new to the Cactus range.

On Tuesday, Jean-Marc Hubertus, Head of Wines at Cactus, together with Damien Lassance, President of the Cactus Wine Club, presented an overview of the wines on offer. 

The French wines for this festival come mainly from the Bordeaux and Bourgogne wine-growing regions of France, including from some prestigious wine-makers and others from small, family-run wineries. 

While in-store tastings will not be possible this year, die to COVID-19 restrictions, Cactus' representatives will be on hand to help those interested to choose wines to purchase. The main Cactus stores involved in the French Wine Festival this year are at La Belle Etoile, Bascharage and Howald, with other Cactus stores also stocking many of the wines on offer during the festival. Due to the festival, the Cactus Belle etoile will also open on Sunday 24 October 2021, from 14:00 - 18:00.

No less than 40 wines will have discounts between 25-30%. Shoppers can have their wines delivered to their homes via the Letzshop.lu online shop, with the same discounts as in-store shopping when purchasing full cases (6 or 12 bottles). 

The Cactus Wine Club, which has been going for more than 30 years, has 3,500+ members who enjoy participating in wine courses, wine & dinner evenings as well as trips to wine regions; in addition, members are entitled to an additional 5% discount on all wines purchased. Membership cards are available for €20, with new members receiving a complementary bottle of Chateau Rousset-Caillau 2019.
