Luxembourg's Food Safety Unit has announced the recall of Lorenz Bahlsen brand wasabi snacks due to the unlabelled possible presence of the mustard allergen.
Due to misleading labelling, the following products have been recalled from stores in Luxembourg:
- Lorenz "Fascinations Wasabi", 100g, with the expiry dates: 02/03/2021; 21/03/2021; 13/04/2021; 23/05/2021; 23/06/2021; 11/07/2021; 01/08/2021
- Lorenz "Crunchips WOW Wasabi", 110g, with the barcode 4018077822438 and expiry dates from 30/11/2020 to 10/05/2021, 19/05/2021 and 07/07/2021
- Lorenz "Wasabi Erdnüsse", 800g, with the barcode EAN 4018077771590 and expiry dates from 05/11/2020 to 26/04/2021
- Lorenz "Wasabi Erdnüsse", 100g, with the barcode EAN 4018077771750 and expiry dates from 03/11/2020 to 01/06/2021
People who are not allergic or intolerant to mustard are not affected by this recall and can consume the product without restriction.
The snacks were sold in Luxembourg by Cactus and Rewe, although other sales points cannot be excluded.
