Rapunzel Soup Recalled due to Glass Presence

Luxembourg's food safety authorities have announced the recall of a Rapunzel brand soup ("Klare Suppe") from various stores in the Grand Duchy due to the possible presence of glass.

The food safety authorities learned via the European Commission's Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) that the Rapunzel product "Klare Suppe", which may contain fragments of glass, was distributed in Luxembourg in Pall Center, Cactus and Naturata stores, as well as on Amazon. A wider distribution cannot be excluded.

Whilst the product in question has since been withdrawn from Pall Center, Cactus and Naturata stores, some consumers have already bought the product.

Consequently, Luxembourg's food safety authorities have recommended that consumers no longer consume the following product: German brand Rapunzel's "Klare Suppe" (250g) with the expiry date 18/09/2020 and barcode EAN 4006040271017.

Only products with the specified expiry date and barcode are concerned.
