Luxembourg supermarket chain Cactus has launched its "Mug to Go" eco-friendly travel mug for hot drinks.
The introduction of this re-usable travel mug forms part of the brand's efforts to reduce the use of disposable cups and raise awareness of "responsible" consumption.
Cactus customers will now receive a €0.20 on takeaway hot drinks (except from automatic coffee machines) when they bring their reusable and 100% recyclable cup. This thermoplastic resin mug is ideally suited for the transport and consumption of hot drinks. Equipped with an airtight lid with opening for drinking, the mug makes it impossible for liquid to leak and allows its user to enjoy drinks in comfort while travelling.
Mug to Go is now available as a limited edition in C-Inn restaurants, some Shoppi Cactuses and all Cactus stores, where it can also be redeemed against Cactus customer card points.
