Cactus has introduced the Spanish organic wine brand "Antonita Puñuelos" to its supermarket shelves.

Constantly on the lookout for new quality wines, Cactus can now seduce wine lovers with four organic certified novelties, produced in the Spanish regions of Rioja and Jumilla. Three "Antonita Puñuelos" (Rioja) wine types and one from Jumilla, "Baica Barricado Organic", are now available in all Cactus supermarkets.

Organic wines are on the rise. Products without chemicals, these high-quality wines are gaining popularity among wine lovers around the world. It is in Spain in the region of Rioja, that the Cactus experts have unearthed the bio-vegan wines "Antonita Puñuelos". Thanks to a careful selection of grapes and the use of modern winemaking techniques, Baica Vinos Y Viñedos, the company that advises and accompanies the vineyards of the famous Spanish region, has revealed wines distinguished by a unique combination flavours and aromas, following the principles of organic farming. Three wines are now available in all Cactus supermarkets:

Antonita Puñuelos Rosado 2017, a rosé wine with delicate floral aroma and white fruit nuances. It goes well with all kinds of salads, rice, pasta and white meats;

Antonita Puñuelos Rioja Tinto 2016, a red wine with a ruby ​​red colour with purple hues. A good choice for all Mediterranean dishes such as tapas, vegetables, red meats and fish;

Antonita Puñuelos Blanco 2017, a white wine with nuances of tropical fruits, bananas, apples and citrus fruits. It goes well with all kinds of dishes made from rice, fish and seafood or simply as an aperitif.

The wines "Antonita Puñuelos" are easily recognisable by their distinctive label, with an original look combining flamenco dance and Picasso's art.

Added to this trilogy of Rioja wines is the red wine "Baica Barricado Organic", managed by the company Baica Vinos Y Viñedos, a very aromatic, dense and suave wine, composed mostly of the Monastrel grape variety.
