The European Consumer Centre Luxembourg is organising a lunchtime conference on conumers rights regarding shopping and travel during the holiday period; it will take place on Thursday 30 November during typical lunch hours from 12:30 to 13:30, at the European Information Centre (7 rue du Marché-aux-Herbes, Luxembourg City).
As the end of year approaches, many gifts will be bought from other European countries, both online or in store, but if a problem occurs, what are your consumer rights? To find out whether your warranties are valid in other countries or how to get reimboursed from afar, the European Consumer Centre is at hand to offer help and advice.
The European Consumer Centre Luxembourg is working alongside the European Parliament Information Office and the European Commission representation in Luxembourg to organise this event. The moderation will be in French but questions in other languages are also welcomed.
Drinks and sandwiches will be served.
