Cactus supermarket chain announced today it will be offering a new Tourte bread from Luxembourgish bakery Cathy Goedert.

The new bread will be added to the supermarket's bread and confectionery line of products, which already supplies produce from Pains & Tradition and Bio-Bäcker of the Oiko-Backhaus. The Tourte bread, a rye sourdough bread, will be available at the cheese cutting stands of La Belle Etoile and Cactus Howald.

In developing the recipe for this bread, Cathy Goedert was reportedly inspired by Max Nosbusch, the renowned baker of the town of Vianden. The bread was developed, according to its new vendor Cactus, in keeping with its aim to provide its clientele with 'quality without compromise'.
