Touch Luxembourg's Mens 30 team took part in their third training camp with Head Coach Nicholas "Nick" Matenga last weekend, in preparation for the 2024 Touch World Cup.

Braving the weather, the 21-strong squad went through their paces at the National Institute of Sports (Institut National des Sports - INS) and Boy Konen sports facilities. By the time they get to their first Touch World Cup game this summer, the squad will be reduced to sixteen - meaning there is everything to play for...

Luxembourg will head to Nottingham, England in July 2024 to compete against 20 nations for the title of world champion in the men's 30 division. This includes teams from Australia, England, New Zealand, France, Wales, South Africa and Ireland, among others.

Nick Matenga (from New Zealand) has been coaching the team over the last two years to prepare them to compete at this elite level. The Luxembourg National Touch Team Head Coach shared with "The team is coming together well, three months out of the World Cup. With over half the team coming back from last year's European championships in France, the team has been able to build from last year's tournament. We look forward finalising our preperations and testing ourselves against the best in the word in England in July."

Touch Luxembourg is the national association for Touch Rugby in Luxembourg that aims to make Touch the premier mixed participation sport in Luxembourg by increasing participation levels and improving the level of skill from beginner through to international players.
