Rugby Club Luxembourg (RCL) has a final chance to gain promotion to Bundesliga Division One this coming Saturday 1 July 2023, with a home match against RK Heusenstamm; kick-off at 14:00 at the Stade Boy Konen in Luxembourg-Cessange.
RCL came agonisingly close to victory in the play-off final away to Rugby-Sport-Verein Köln on Saturday 17 June 2023; leading by 9 points with five minutes remaining, the hosts scored a converted try and late drop goal to pip RCL at the final whistle.
For this final game, RCL will have the bar open, including delivery to spectators, and a special BBQ will include a hog roast.
After this game, RCL players will have a short break before pre-season starts at the end of July.
