The winter sun brought out a sizeable crowd and some spectacular Rugby at Cessange's new 4G artificial Rugby Pitch on Saturday.
The unbeaten RCL U14s produced their best performance of season to date, defeating a courageous Namur 100-0. With the score at 42-0 at half time, RCL took the opportunity to empty the bench to give some of the less experienced boys 30 minutes of Rugby. Man of the Match Jordy Seeck was dominant in the ruck and vocal in marshalling his forwards.
RCL U19s dominated the battle of the forwards beating CSCE U19s 86-0 to retain their top position in Division 2 of the Belgian Championship. RCL U19s II had to work hard in the first half to over come a stubborn Racing Jet side before pulling away to a 59-7 victory.
The action does not stop next week-end as the Luxembourg rugby-loving public can watch RCL, CSCE and Walferdange Ecolé de Rugby do battle from 10:30 - 12:30 before CSCE U16s play ROC at 13:00, RCL U19s take on Standard at 14:30, all before the RCL seniors' first team confront Darmstadt at 16:00.
