Fallen Lies, a Luxembourgish power rock band and winners of Rock the South 2017, will release their debut album "Confusion" at the Rockhal in Esch-Belval on Friday 24 January 2020.

The group Fallen Lies started in 2012, when four friends (the founding members) decided to meet up regularly to play music. The group quickly began looking for a singer, a mission that did not prove easy. In the meantime, the band continued composing songs. In 2014, front-woman Lynn joined them and the group finalised their line-up.

Fallen Lies went on to play in different bars and small festivals. In December 2017, the group organised their first festival "Wintermeltdown", with three other local groups and an international group, and they won the first prize of the Rock the South contest in Pétange. The latter enabled them to launch the production of "Confusion" and provided them with the funds and motivation to finally make their first album. The recording of the album was done in part with Charel Stoltz in the studios of the Rockhal but also at Holtz Sound. This album contains the first songs written by the band since its conception and combines the influences of Metallica, Volbeat and the guitar solos of Slash.

Tickets for the album release cost €7 (presale and at the door). Entry plus the album cost €15 (presale only). The album on its own costs €10. Presale tickets are available from the band members directly or via email: fallenliesband@gmail.com.

Doors open at 20:00 with the concert starting at 20:30.
