Luxinnovation has announced the return of the Wood Cluster Forum Luxembourg, an event for innovation and sustainable development in the wood sector in the Greater Region, after a three-year hiatus.
This edition, scheduled for Thursday 19 October 2023 at the Hesperange Cultural Centre from 09:00 to 17:30, will address various aspects related to the wood sector and construction industry in Luxembourg. It will cover strategies and success factors crucial for the wood sector's development in the region. Additionally, the event will showcase innovative projects and regional flagship initiatives within wood construction, with an emphasis on innovative planning, digital manufacturing, and the principles of the circular economy.
Low-carbon strategies, along with real-world implementation examples from Luxembourg and the Greater Region, will also be featured, demonstrating practical approaches to reduce carbon emissions. Furthermore, the event will highlight sustainable projects along the wood value chain, focusing on their substantial contributions to mitigating the climate impact within the construction sector of Luxembourg. It is a platform to share knowledge, insights, and best practices in these areas.
