Luxembourg's national railway company, the CFL, has announced that rail traffic on line 10 is currently disrupted in both directions between Dommeldange and Luxembourg.

The CFL noted that this disruption was due to an incident requiring the intervention of the emergency services.

To ensure the smooth transportation of travellers on the above-mentioned section, the CFL has set up a replacement bus service. These buses are operating between Luxembourg and Dommeldange. They will also serve the Pfaffenthal-Kirchberg stop. Note that the Dommeldange level crossing was closed until further notice.

The CFL added that its emergency services are on-site, working to restore train circulation as quickly as possible. There is currently no information available concerning the duration of the disruption.

Updated details will be available on the website www.cfl.lu or via the CFL mobile application during this time.

Update: The CFL later confirmed that trains between Luxembourg and Dommeldange would gradually resume from 16:30 on Thursday 18 April 2024. Some delays and cancellations are still possible.
