Luxembourg's national railway company, the CFL, has reported the disruption of rail traffic on Line 60 due to "urgent" infrastructure maintenance in Howald on Thursday 23 November 2023.
Due to these maintenance works, involving a track in Howald, regional express (RE) trains on Line 60 between Luxembourg and Rodange have been cancelled in both directions between 09:00 and 15:00 on Thursday.
Alternative(s): the regional (RB) train running from Luxembourg to Pétange, with stops in Luxembourg, Berchem, Bettembourg, Noertzange, Schifflange, Esch-sur-Alzette, Belval-Université, Belval-Lycée, Belval-Rédange, Belvaux-Soleuvre, Oberkorn, Differdange, Niederkorn and Pétange, in both directions. This train departs Luxembourg every hour at two minutes past and at 32 minutes past the hour, and departs Pétange every hour at eight minutes past and at 38 minutes past the hour.
Moreover, the Howald stop will not be served on Line 90 (nor Line 60) from 09:00 to 15:00 due to these infrastructure maintenance works. Alternative bus lines include 411, 29 and 28.

Update: On Thursday afternoon, the CFL reported that it expected rail traffic on the affected line(s) to "gradually" return to normal from 17:00.
