On Wednesday 24 August 2022, the International School Of Luxembourg (ISL) re-opened its doors after the summer holidays for the start of the new school year.
There is a palpable air of excitement all across the ISL campus, as a total of 1,350 students representing no less than 60 nationalities, aged 3 to 18 years old, are returning to class this week.
Students in the Upper School started the new school year on Wednesday 24 August; Lower School students are heading back to ISL on Thursday 25 August.
The smiles on children's faces show how happy they are to see both their friends and teachers again. After spending some time catching up with one another, students in the Upper School were invited into their respective classrooms and given the logistical information they need for a successful start of the new school year.
The week is also filled with onboarding meetings to welcome and address the specific needs of new families and staff members.
