On Friday, Luxembourg's Cabinet met to discuss and agree a number of issues, including mini-crèches where a draft law is being prepared.
The parliamentary bill, as well as the wording of the Grand-Ducal Regulation (law), reflect the government's desire to extend the offer of care and non-formal education of young children by creating the concept of mini-crèches.
Managed by a qualified educator, and also a person having trained in the socio-educational supervision of children or having a training certificate regarding parental assistance, the mini-crèche concept is intended to accommodate a maximum number of eleven children at any one time.
