Luxembourg's Government Information and Press Service (SIP) has confirmed that Sophie Wilmès, Belgium's Prime Minister, will visit Luxembourg on Wednesday 26 August 2020.

PM Wilmès will be visiting the Grand Duchy at the invitation of Luxembourg's Prime Minister, Xavier Bettel, and they will meet at the Hotel Saint-Maximin, the seat of the Ministry of State in Luxembourg's city centre. Topics for discussion include bilateral relations, cooperation in the fight against COVID-19 and topics related to the European agenda.

In addition, the Belgian Prime Minister will also meet with the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Fernand Etgen, as well as with the President of the Committee on Foreign and European Affairs, Cooperation, Immigration and Asylum, Yves Cruchten.

UPDATE: The visit or Prime Minister Sophie Wilmès has been postponed to another date yet to be confirmed.
