The City of Luxembourg, in consultation with the French Embassy in Luxembourg and the Grand-Ducal Police, have clarified that the arrival of the Skoda Tour de Luxembourg cycling race on Sunday 4 June will not prevent access to the polling stations for the French legislative elections located at the Lycée Vauban, 1 Rue Joseph Sax.
The City confirms that pedestrian access to the premises will be guaranteed at all times.
Moreover, access by car or access for people with reduced mobility will be guaranteed throughout the day except between 15:00 and 16:00 when access to the Lycée Vauban and the exit will be made exclusively via the compulsory crossing point ( PPO) placed at the intersection of Batty Weber Street and Pasteur Avenue.
The PPO will allow motorists to cross the road according to the progress of the race. Please note that it is not permitted to park around the race track from midday.
Access by public transport (Ligne 2, Square André stop) is possible throughout the day, except between 13:00 and 16:30 where the line will have its terminus at the Victor Hugo Hall (rue Henri VII).
