Yesterday, Economic Minister Etienne Schneider met Xavier Paluszkiewicz, mayor of Villers-la-Montagne and candidate for "La République en Marche" in the 2017 French parliamentary elections for the Meurthe-et-Moselle constituency.
Their discussions focused on challenges related to the 92,000 French border workers who come to work every day in Luxembourg. In this sense, issues related to transport and mobility were addressed. Minister Schneider stressed the importance of setting up joint projects, benefiting both France and Luxembourg, such as cross-border teleworking.
