
On 10 and 11 May 2017, the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Bohuslav Sobotka, will pay an official visit to Luxembourg on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the establishment of Czecho-Luxembourg diplomatic relations.
On the first day of the visit, Bohuslav Sobotka will be welcomed by Prime Minister Xavier Bettel at Place Clairefontaine. A dinner hosted by Prime Minister and Minister of State Xavier Bettel in honor of Bohuslav Sobotka will close the first day of the visit.
The head of the Czech government will meet the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Mars Di Bartolomeo, for a working breakfast followed by an extended working meeting with the members of the Bureau, the Conference of Presidents and the Committee on Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Cooperation and 'Immigration.
The Prime Minister of the Czech Republic will visit the SES headquarters in Betzdorf.
Bohuslav Sobotka will then be received in audience by S.A.R. the Grand Duke at the Grand Ducal Palace.
The Prime Minister of the Czech Republic will visit the crypt of the cathedral and lay a wreath of flowers on the tomb of John the Blind. There will also be a wreath laying at Jan Palach Square.
