Michel Barnier, chief negotiator responsible for the European Commission working group responsible for preparing and conducting negotiations with the United Kingdom under Article 50 of the Treaty on European Union, will be in Luxembourg on 4 April to meet with Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, and Foreign Affairs Minister Jean Asselborn for discussions focusing in particular on the negotiations for withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.

In addition, Michel Barnier will meet the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Mars Di Bartolomeo, and will have an exchange of views with members of the Committee on Foreign and European Affairs, Defense, Cooperation and Immigration and 'With members of the Committee on Finance and the Budget.
