On the invitation of the Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs, Charles Flanagan, Jean Asselborn, Luxembourg Minister for Foreign and European Affairs, will pay a working visit to Ireland today.

In Dublin, Minister Asselborn will meet with Minister Flanagan, to discuss bilateral relations between countries as a result of the United Kingdom's withdrawal from the European Union on Ireland, the situation in Northern Ireland, As well as European and international news.

He will also meet with a delegation of Irish businessmen to discuss the consequences of the British withdrawal from the EU on the Irish economy. Finally, the minister will visit the border between Ireland and Northern Ireland, in order to see the situation on the ground.
