Luxembourg Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Jean Asselborn, joined the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels today for a joint session on security and defence issues.
The session concluded with a decision to establish a short-term capacity military planning and conduct officer for the EU Military Staff in Brussels, who will be responsible, at the strategic level, for the operational planning and conduct of non-executive non-combatant military missions.
