On Thursday 9 June 2016, Minister for Equal Opportunities of Luxembourg, Lydia Mutsch, joined a ministerial round table held ahead of the Global Summit of Women 2016 in Warsaw.

The minister emphasised the importance of regularly exchanging experiences at the national level, presenting the public-private partnership programme for the positive actions of the Ministry of Equal Opportunities as an example of Luxembourg's good practice.

Under this programme, the Ministry provides advice and financial support to the private sector in the establishment and implementation of their internal plan for equality between men and women. A discussion network has been set up by the Ministry of Equal Opportunities to enable companies to exchange with each other and for other interested companies to follow suit.

During the summit, Lydia Mutsch had an exchange of views with representatives of the Congress of Women of Poland, as well as informal talks with ministers from other Member States of the European Union, including Germany and France.
