Luxembourg Minister of Sports, Romain Schneider, will today be participating in the "Sport" component of the Education, Youth, Culture and Sports Council taking place in Brussels.
During the "Sport" portion of the Council, the EU ministers will be asked to adopt Council conclusions on strengthening integrity, transparency and good governance in the context of major sporting events.
The Council will also hold a policy debate on improving governance in sport and the role of governments in this regard.
The future Slovak Presidency will then present its priorities on this topic for the second half of 2016.
