At the invitation of his French counterpart, Jean-Marc Ayrault, Luxembourg Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jean Asselborn, is in Paris today for a bilateral meeting at the Quai d'Orsay.
The meeting willl first of all take stock of Franco-Luxembourg bilateral relations and matters of common interest.
The ministers will then exchange views on major issues in European politics, particularly regarding recent developments in migration and the implementation of the EU-Turkey agreement, previously discussed during the Migration section of the Justice and Home Affairs (JHA) Council last Thursday.
Political matters of an international nature, including the latest developments in Syria and the Middle East and the fight against terrorism, are also expected to feature on the agenda.
