Prime Minister, Xavier Bettel, and Minister of the Greater Region, Corinne Cahen, met with the reeve of the Greater Alsace-Lorraine-Champagne-Ardenne Region, Stéphane Fratacci, for an exchange of views at the Hôtel de Bourgogne.
Discussions focused on current matters in cross-border cooperation, particularly within the context of the Franco-Luxembourg intergovernmental commission for strengthening cross-border cooperation. Collaboration between Luxembourg and France in the field of nuclear safety was similarly addressed.
Regarding the work as part of the Greater Region Summit, the Prime Minister and the Mimnister for the Greater Region addressed with the prefect issues relating to the governance of the Greater Region and the future Luxembourg Presidency of the Greater Region Summit 2017-2018.
