As Minister of Labour, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy, Nicolas Schmit, heads to Paris today, Luxembourg will be receiving French Prime Minister, Manuel Valls, next Monday for a working visit.
Prime Minister Valls, who will be accompanied by Secretary of State to the Minister of Finance and Public Accounts, Christian Eckert, will be received at the Hôtel de Bourgogne by his Luxembourg counterpart and Minister of State, Xavier Bettel.
In front of government officials, the meeting will focus on bilateral relations, as well as current affairs in European politics, particularly the migration crisis. The agenda will also feature cooperation between Luxembourg and France in the field of nuclear safety and cross-border issues.
