Jean Asselborn is travelling to Brazil today to conduct a working visit to several South American countries from 21 to 25 March 2016.
The Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Luxembourg will first visit Brasilia where he will meet his Brazilian counterpart, Mauro Vieira, for a bilateral meeting, before travelling to the Chilean capital of Santiago for a meeting with the country's Foreign Minister, Heraldo Muñoz on Thursday.
The respective talks will take stock of bilateral relations by addressing several related issues, as well as provide an opportunity for an exchange of views on the situation in the region and on international politics.
