Luxembourg's Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Jean Asselborn, has invited several senior germanophone political figures for a working visit to the Grand Duchy on Friday 26 February 2016.
Austrian President, Heinz Fischer; Foreign Minister of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier; and Head of the Federal Justice and Police Department of the Swiss Confederation, Simonetta Sommaruga, will all be received by Minister Asselborn at the Saint-Maximin building. Following a meeting, the group will then go on to attend the premiere of the documentary 'Foreign Affairs - A Portrait of Jean Asselborn' being held at Rotondes as part of the 6th edition of the Luxembourg City Film Festival.
Later that afternoon, the Austria President and the First Lady, Margit Fischer, will be received in audience by TRH the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess at the Grand Ducal Palace, before heading to the Hôtel de Bourgogne for a meeting with Prime Minister, Minister of State, Xavier Bettel.
