Discussions between the Hungarian Minister and Minister for Foreign and European Affairs and Minister for Immigration and Asylum, Jean Asselborn involved an in-depth examination of the immigration priorites of the Luxembourg Presidency of the Council of the EU.

The meeting followed several recent European trips made by Minister Asselborn to discuss the current agenda on migration issues in Europe. Talks with Minister Szijjarto also focused on the relocation and resettlement of refugees in European countries, as well as the various means available to the EU to support the countries of origin.
