The Luxembourgish Ministre des Affaires Etrangères et Européennes Jean Asselborn will visit Berlin on Wednesday 1 July 2015, to meet with the Ministre Fédéral de l'Intérieur de la République Fédérale d’Allemagne, Thomas de Maizière.
Discussion will centre on the issue of migration in the Mediterranean and especially on the issue of the European distribution of refugees from North Africa and the Middle East.
Talks will also take stock of bilateral relations between the two neighbouring countries and preparations for the Council Presidency of the European Union that Luxembourg will assume in the second half of 2015.
