The Ville de Luxembourg has announced that due to the DKV - Urban Trail sporting event taking place on Sunday 17 April 2016, traffic will be redirected in the city centre.
- From 09:00 until 13:00, traffic will be prohibited in the old town (Rue de la Boucherie, rue de la Congrégation, rue de l'Eau, côte d'Eich, rue du St Esprit, rue du Fossé, Grand-Rue, rue du Marché-aux-Herbes, rue Notre-Dame, rue du Rost, rue Beaumont)
- From 09:00 until 20:00 in the Grund district (Bisserwee, montée du Grund, rue Large, rue Munster, rue du Fort Olisy, rue de Prague, desserte Schuman, rue du Fort Thungen, rue de Trèves, rue Saint Ulric, rue Sosthène Weis, rue Jules Wilhelm)
A one-way system will also be set up on boulevard Roosevelt, from the walkway to rue Philippe II from 09:00 until 22:00 and parking will be prohibited at boulevard Roosevelt:
- From 07:00 until 13:00 next to the cathedral
- From 07:00 until 20:00 on the side of the Pétrusse Valley.
The DKV - Urban Trail route will also pass through several roads which will remain open to traffic: boulevard Ulveling and Thorn, allée Mnasfled, rue St Mathieu, Val de Hamm, rue Auguste Charles and boulevard Patton.
