CarréRotondes in Luxembourg-Hollerich, will host the fourth edition of “Playgirls & Gameboys”, an afternoon filled with board games for families of all ages to enjoy, on Saturday 13 December from 14:00 to 19:00.
Children, adolescents and adults will have the opportunity to play a wide variety of classic and new board games, relax and have some fun amongst family and friends. There will be helpers on hand to explain the rules of each game to the visitors and assist them in selecting the game most suitable for the children’s ages. There will also be big, wooden life-size versions of some games, which will be on display for the public to entertain themselves with.
The event is co-organised by the Ville de Luxembourg’s Educational and Leisure Entertainment Centre (Capel), TRAFFO CarréRotondes and the Spillfabrik. It is aimed at promoting traditional board games, and getting people of different generations to interact and fraternise together in a laidback, friendly ambiance.
Entrance is free of charge.
