The English-speaking Section of natur&ëmwelt is organising an event entitled "Colourful Birds Only Live in the Rainforest?" on Sunday, 15 December 2013 from 09:00 - 12:00.
The event is being organised for youth, particularly those aged from 8 to 14 years old, to build a bird feeder. The bird feeder could be a great Christmas gift to themselves, for someone else in their family or for a friend. A bird feeder is a great way to teach others about the importance of nature.
Young people will also be shown the colourful birds that visit the feeder at Kockelscheuer that will be caught by their experienced bird ringers.
Children under 8 years old are also welcome if they are accompanied by an adult.
