On Sunday 13 October, the annual Nut Market will take place in Vianden from 10:00 to 19:00.
Located in a picturesque setting, the Nut Market will have an array of produce on offer including walnut cakes, breads, cheeses and the famous walnut liquor made from young nuts.
The Nut Market has a rich history with Vianden being host to the first Nut Market in 1935. At the start of the 20th Century around one fifth of the country’s walnut crops were to be found in Vianden.
The annual Nut Market will also feature a variety of events to keep both young and old entertained. There is also the castle which is well worth a visit.
