A new mobile library has been announced by the National Library of Luxembourg to complement the mobile library service fleet and will be celebrated with an Open Day at the National Library on 21 September 2013.
The Open Day will consist of a variety of activities. Guided tours will be offered of the building, the archives, the collections, online services and ongoing projects. There will be a conservation and binding workshop by Edy Willems and Danielle Köller-Willems, and a creative workshop given by illustrator Muriel Moritz. There will also be a live DJ and a bouncy castle. The Open Day is part of the “Open Top” event and will take place from 11:00 to 18:00 and admission is free.
