Sales-Lentz have announced that their 3rd annual Marche Gourmande will be taking place on Sunday 15 September at Bascharage, a great opportunity for any foodie who doesn’t want to feel guilty after indulging.

Over a trail of either 8 or 12km, participants will encounter various stands offering aperitives, starters, a main course and dessert. These stands will be organised by, amongst others, the Palmenwald Schwarzwaldhof hotel, LuxairTours and H&T Touristik. An example of the gastronomical delights that await those who take part in this Marche Gourmande is presented in the starter consisting of pork rôti aromatised with pumpkin seed oil and horseradish.

With a total of six food stands to encounter along the trail, groups will leave the start point between 10:00 and 13:00 with intervals of 20 minutes. A navette will also be available from the Delphi parking which will bring participants straight into the centre of Bascharage.

The trail will terminate at the Brasserie Bofferding, where the popular “Käerjeng feiert den Happ” will occur to celebrate the first harvest of hops. Along with entertainment for young and old alike, there will also be the opportunity to assist with the piercing of the first keg of beer and participate in a wine tasting.

Interested participants can register at Sales-Lentz agencies across Luxembourg.
