With the completion of the second phase of the rehabilitation and transformation of the Pont Grande-Duchesse Charlotte (the "red bridge"), the Administration des Ponts et Chaussées will proceed with the third phase of the work, which is scheduled to begin on Saturday 19 November 2016.
This third phase requires a reorganisation of traffic on the bridge. Thus, from 19 November 2016, the two traffic lanes in the direction of Kirchberg will be moved to the south of the bridge; the first lane in the direction of the city centre will remain on the north side and the second lane will be located in the middle of the bridge.
Traffic flows will therefore be maintained during the switch-over and appropriate signaling will be set up.
During construction, the south pavevent will remain closed to pedestrians and cyclists.
