The Ville de Luxembourg has announced that connection works will be taking place between the central school in Clausen and public use networks on Saturday 5 November 2016 between 06:30 and 19:00 and on Sunday 6 November between 06:30 and 21:00.
This coming weekend the Montée de Clausen will be blocked off at the section between Rue de la Tour Jacob and Rue du Fort Olisy whilst these connection works take place.
A diversion will be made in the direction of the city centre via Allée Pierre de Mansfeld, Rue Vauban, Rue Saint Mathieu, Rue Laurent Menager and côte d’Eich.
There will also be a diversion in the direction Clausen-Neudorf in the opposite direction via côte d’Eich, Rue Laurent Menager, Rue Saint Mathieu, Rue Vauban and Allée Pierre de Mansfeld. Such diversions will be signposted.
During the works period, there will also be changes to bus timetables, for instance in the direction of Clausen, bus lines 9, 14 and 20 will be diverted via côte d’Eich and Pfaffenthal. The stops Um Bock, Plateau Altmunster and Clausener Bréck platform 1 will be replaced by the stop Badanstalt platform 1 as well as by a temporary stop in front of 63 Allée Pierre de Mansfeld.
In the direction of the city centre, the diversion will go in the opposite direction. Stops Clausener Bréck platform 2, Plateau Altmunster and Um Bock will be replaced by a temporary stop above house numbers 57-59 on Allée Pierre de Mansfeld as well as by the stop Badanstalt platform 2.
