Luxembourg’s Ministry for Sustainable Development and Infrastructure has announced that a debate on the theme of “regional planning for a sustainable future” will take place at the University of Luxembourg on Monday 7 November 2016, starting at 16:00.
Next Monday, the University of Luxembourg will host a debate on the subject of regional development for a sustainable future. The event will take place in the Maison du Savoir’s Grand Auditorium in Campus Belval (2, avenue de l’Université, L-4365 Esch/Alzette).
Recent debates and controversies on topics such as economic growth, the creation of jobs and sectorial plans, among others, show the huge interest that society and concerned actors have in the process for Luxembourg’s future strategic direction. As such, in order to base dialogue and arguments on concrete information, the government will organise several events in November 2016, the first of which is this debate to take place on 7 November.
This first debate, which focuses more specifically on territory layout, will be hosted by Guy Weber. The event is open to all members of the public and will be livestreamed both on gouvernement.lu and mddi.lu.
Other upcoming events will take place on 10 and 14 November in Kirchberg.
